An Elegant Rebel
“In her there is poetry of style written in every elegant curve.”
We shot this in Downtown St. Petersburg, Florida, and it was my first time approaching a shoot with this kind of edgy, fashion-driven direction. The setting gave us a clean, structured backdrop that allowed the focus to stay on Maddison and the styling, while still feeling natural and connected to the environment.
From this shoot came the idea of Elegant Rebel, a term I use to describe lingerie-inspired fashion presented through style and elegance in an empowering way. It’s not just about the look, but how the model carries it, confident, composed, and fully in control of the moment.
Maddison fully embraced the concept from the start. Even though we only had a short window to shoot this set, her energy and willingness to create made the process feel effortless. We moved quickly, but everything came together in a way that felt natural, and the result was a set of images that still stands out to me.
